D06 Dynamic Hardness Tester provides hardness testing when buying raw materials. Hardness testing of heavy duty and large components is possible anywhere without moving them. The device can test metals with curved, porous, and angular surfaces. It is also capable of testing in 5 different directions with the same impact energy. Due to the use of impactor devices with different energy, the device can supports 9 different hardness testing scales and 8 widely used industrial metals.
Auto-reload impact device mechanism
With auto-reload feature, the user can repeatedly perform the test without manually loading the impact body. This magnetic force mechanism provided an easy hardness testing experience. This mechanism benefits from steady indentation force for the entire device lifetime.
One-hand test experience
The impact device is automatically loaded after each test and does not need the user to manually load it with two hands after each test. It provides more flexibility for the user to perform the hardness testing on non-easily accessible surfaces.
Software user calibration
The user can calibrate the device for each test material on three hardness ranges, i.e., low, medium, and high. This feature provides flexibility and accuracy for the user to calibrate the device based on a specific application.
High accuracy in electromagnetic-radiated environments
The impact device is designed with a very robust and accurate velocity measurement system by which very accurate hardness testing can be performed. This measuring system is accurate even in the environments where electromagnetic radiation is very high.
Data transfer using USB port
For convenience and ease of data transfer, the device is equiped with a USB port. Using the memory menu, you can select a range of tests to be transferred to the USB flash memory. The data is stored in a text file format that can be retrived in any text editor software on the PC.
1500 memory for data storage
The device has a built-in memory in which 1500 hardness test will all of the statistical calculations can be stored. The data that can. E stored for each test are hardness scale, number of tests, minimum, average, maximum, range, standard deviation, code, and serial number.
Hardness testing in all directions
The test can be done in 0, 45, 90, 135, and 180 degrees and the device automatically compensates the errors caused by the impact body mass based on ISO 16859 standard. You only need to select the test direction and all other compensations will be performed by the device, automatically.
Same impact energy in all directions
Using the spring-less impact mechanism, the impact energy and velocity are the same in all directions. It results the same hardness value without any need to hardness compensation.
Hardness testing on flat, concave, and convex surfaces
Using three different support rings, hardness testing of almost any surface is possible. These support rings has been designed such a way that they fit in majority of industrial applications.
3000 tests with fully-charged batteries
With fully-charged batteries the device can perform up to 3000 tests. The device has 5 AA rechargeable NiCd batteries that can be charged using provided charger overnight.
